Linguist Selection

Linguists are selected based on qualifications, professional experience, language competence, subject-matter expertise, relevant references and suitability for the type of assignment. Candidates may be tested before approval for relevant types of work.

Confidentiality

All translators and interpreters working with Metargem & Partners are required to sign confidentiality commitments, including an NDA where appropriate, before receiving assignments.

Project Assignment

Assignments are allocated according to factors including language pair, subject matter, certification requirements, relevant experience, previous performance and project requirements.

Secure Workflow

Client documents are stored in Metargem & Partners’ secure internal database and made available to authorized linguists through the company’s secure project platform.

Quality Control

Completed translations are reviewed by the dedicated project manager before delivery. For certified translations, checks include, where relevant, source and target comparison, completeness, names, dates, numbers, layout, certification requirements and consistency with the requested service.

Ongoing Performance Monitoring

Linguist performance is monitored over time. Quality issues, corrections and previous project history may be taken into account when future work is assigned. Work that does not meet the required standard may be rejected or returned for correction.

Complaints and Corrections

Clients may submit quality concerns in writing. Where an error attributable to Metargem & Partners is confirmed, appropriate corrections are carried out without additional charge.
